Document Controller Jobs Description:
Document Controller Jobs in Qatar : As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing important documents for specific projects or the entire organization. Your main objective will be to ensure easy accessibility and proper storage of documents. Additionally, you will review and release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to different departments, including manufacturing and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Accurately input document data into standard registers and ensure the information is up to date.
- Generate various document control reports as required.
- Type site documents and follow up on site needs.
- Distribute controlled copies of approved documents and drawings to staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings, clearly documenting their distribution.
- Safely store and preserve documents and drawings in the Document Control office, ensuring they are easily traceable and free from damage or deterioration.
- Maintain project files and control logs.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, word processing software, and job-specific software.
- Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to swiftly input and retrieve data using a computer.
- Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with filing methods and management techniques.
- Effective communication skills.
